    Candace is a graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA, and a former Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy. After experiencing a miscarriage in 2019, she became deeply invested in maternal health. This life-changing event inspired Candace to create Be Well in 2022, an herbal apothecary specializing in reproductive health support for women. Be Well offers birth and postpartum doula services, placenta encapsulation, breastmilk services, and herbal consultations to women in Central Mississippi (Pearl, Jackson, Brandon, Flowood, Ridgeland, Madison, Gluckstadt, Canton, Clinton, Bryam, and Terry). Currently a midwifery student, Candace’s mission is to empower women with compassionate care throughout their reproductive journey.
